Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the original complainant does not file a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity within 10 business days, we will restore the removed material.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Myriad maintains a policy for the termination of accounts belonging to repeat copyright infringers. Our enforcement follows a three-strike system:

  • First strike: The infringing content is removed and the account holder receives a formal warning via email. The creator's account remains active.
  • Second strike: The infringing content is removed and the account is restricted for 7 days (unable to upload new content or receive payouts). The account holder is notified via email.
  • Third strike: The account is permanently terminated. All content is removed from the Platform. Any pending balance may be forfeited. This action is final.

Strikes are assessed per valid DMCA takedown notice. Strikes expire after 12 months from the date they were issued. Severe or willful infringement (e.g., uploading pirated films) may result in immediate termination without prior strikes.

6. AI-Generated Content

Myriad hosts AI-generated video content. Creators are responsible for ensuring that their AI-generated works do not infringe on the intellectual property of others, including copyrighted characters, likenesses, music, or other protected material used as inputs to AI generation tools. The DMCA takedown process applies equally to AI-generated content.

7. Good Faith & Misuse

Filing false or fraudulent DMCA takedown notices is a violation of federal law. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. Myriad reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly file abusive or bad-faith takedown notices.

8. Appeals

If your account has been restricted or terminated due to copyright strikes and you believe this was done in error, you may submit an appeal to appeals@myriadspring.com. Appeals must be submitted within 14 days of the action. We will review and respond within 7 business days.
